A Dog's Life
Silent Film A Dog's Life (1918) is an American comedy short silent film written, produced and directed by Charlie Chaplin. Chaplin stars as the Tramp, a down-on-his-luck character who forms an unlikely friendship with a stray dog while trying to survive on the streets. The film was Chaplin's first production for First National Films and combines physical comedy, tenderness and social humor.
